BASE242 is the Bahamas tourist marketplace. We connect cruise ship and hotel guests visiting The Bahamas to real local sellers — excursions, souvenirs, local products, and services — bookable before they even leave the ship or hotel.
Mission
Put every verified Bahamian seller one tap away from every visiting guest. Excursion operators, straw-market vendors, drivers, hairbraiders, artists, and small producers deserve a fair, direct channel to the millions of tourists who arrive every year.

A Bahamas where tourism spend flows directly and transparently into local hands, hotel by hotel, port day by port day — with hotels, cruise lines, and the vendors themselves all earning on the same platform.
How we're built
Headquartered in Nassau, with vendor verification handled locally and payouts settled to Bahamian bank accounts. Hotels and cruise lines integrate through branded marketplace pages and in-app surfacing so pre-booking feels native — not a redirect.
